These whimsical figurine collectibles date to the first quarter of the 20th century and are getting exceedingly hard to find.   They were mostly produced in Germany.  The pot metal figurines holding an umbrella came in various types of animals - owls, bears, cats, rabbits, dogs etc.
This one has two RABBITS on either side of a thermometer, one holding an umbrella.  The added feature of a thermometer gives the whimsy a purpose.  The original paint is mostly intact with some paint loss on the back of the thermometer.
The whimsical value of this item is enhance by the thermometer.
It measures about 3 1/2" to top of thermometer.
