To use simply insert the pointed end of the cake tester into the middle of the cake and pull back out. If the tester comes out clean with few to no crumbs then your cake is ready. If the tester comes out with wet batter on it then you'll probably want to let that cake bake a little while longer. This stainless steel cake tester is 8 inches long so that you can test even thick bundt cakes.
