Radian Research RFL Model 5800 Meter Calibration System (formerly manufactured by Dowty RFL Industries)
Available for sale are used RFL 5800 meter testing units.
These machines were previously in use on a large electric utility project performing removed electric watt hour meter accuracy (as found testing) and sample testing of new replacement electric watt hour meters.
That project has ended and these units have been placed into secure storage.
The machines were linked via PC to utility meter data management software to record test data for each meter.
All machines were used in a controlled temperature and humidity environment
The machines were calibrated annually and worked without issue until no longer needed.
