    Description

    This is a pottery urn, vase or planter by Van Briggle of Colorado Springs. It stands about 6 1/2" high and has double handles. The color  is Mulberry, and it has an all over crackle finish to the glaze. It is in good condition, but it has a hole in the bottom, and I don't think these came that way. I believe somebody wanted to turn it into a planter that would not drown their plants. I also see a little residue of calcium around the rim from their hard water. Of course, it still displays very well; the hole doesn't show when it sits on the shelf.
