24" Sabian AA/HH/HHX Custom Medium-Thin Ride! The Widest Variation of Sounds!

From my personal collection: Sabian offers AA hammering, HH, and HHX, all for different sounds, depths and projections. But what if you were to take all three concepts and put them on a single Ride? I chose a 24" AA Apollo Ride as my foundation to work from. Already one of my favorite Rides, weights, finishes and designs, this would be a great start to a tremendous ending!
So I had Sabian add HHX to this Apollo cymbal (that already has the AA hammering), then finish it off with a Hand Hammer Treatment. I knew something special had been made here. It's not too light, and not heavy at all. It gives off this dark, dirty, trashy, but musical tone. Lots of colors here to play with. As if it was made 40 years ago. Has that pre-aged feel. I must say, this is one of my favorites I'll ever own or play (and I've owned and played alot!). Can be used as a straight ahead ride, or a crash that opens up and sings out. This cymbal was new from the start, never gigged out (only tested), so it is in mint condition. Not sure if Sabian would make one like this for you, but if they did, it would be through their custom shop store. Be ready to pay about 9, or you can buy this one here and SAVE!
